Out and about

Since the last blog post I've been out and about again on behalf of CILIP in Wales, this is a good thing, but it leaves little time to write it up and more importantly, reflect.


Since last time

• I've met with Joy Head and Cathie Jackson from The Welsh Information Literacy Project
• Fellow CILIP Cymru Wales member Helen Staffer and I have been working on the CILIP Cymru Wales Annual Conference for 2012.
• I took part in a CILIP Policy Team workshop, a fascinating day with the team and Biddy Fisher, I'll write it up in more detail in a separate post.
• I attended a meeting about the refurbishment of my local library. A great meeting because it was attended by lots of local groups, all with an interest in the development of the public library service in Monmouthshire.
• Organised a CILIP / Libraries Information Day for 11th Nov in Wrexham, you can book online.
